CNN’s Harry Enten was aghast at the shifts from the 2024 election. Donald Trump and the Republicans took everything—the White House, Congress, everything. Eighty percent of American counties saw a rightward shift, with some of the steepest changes occurring in the wealthy, urban enclaves that Democrats dominate. It was a landslide. The Left will never admit it because why would they, but it was a sound shellacking that Democrats don’t seem keen on absorbing for introspection. Now, Mr. Enten is labeling Trump’s win a “shallow” landslide.
Enten cited Trump’s weak coattails in some Senate races and a small House majority as evidence. There’s no doubt that split-ticket was an interesting part of this cycle, especially in states like Nevada, but it’s all part of the liberal media coping mechanism that’s delusional.

Who cares?
Are the Democrats in control of Congress? Exactly. We can focus on governing come January. With a small House majority, there are no doubt going to be issues, especially since Republicans are good at tripping over their own neckties on the Hill.
It still doesn’t wash away the fact that we won. The Republican caucus in Congress for Trump’s second presidency is more pro-MAGA than ever. Even when Republicans had more significant majorities in Congress, there was still drama and missteps. Good things will get done, but let’s bask in the glory of this win, and don’t let any liberal tell you otherwise.

They have nowhere to go. They’re losers all around: they lost Congress, the White House, the Electoral College, and the popular vote. This election was just a total and complete repudiation of Democratic politics.
Trump's mandate? It's very shallow. Trump's now under 50% in the popular vote. His margin ranks 44 of 51 since 1824.

Weak coattails: 4 Dems won for Senate in states Trump won. (It was 0 in 2016 & 2020.)
