Joe Biden always smiled or threw aspersions at the press corps when asked about the shady dealings of his son. Joe is also involved in these disreputable government access deals that have seemingly roped in other members of the Biden family, who have allegedly created dozens of shell corporations to funnel the proceeds. Before the FBI's bribery document was revealed to members of the House Oversight Committee, this Romanian operation set off more alarms, or it should have, about how "clean" Joe is. And now, his son gets the deal of a lifetime on weapons and tax charges, which only adds more palace intrigue to this unscrupulous clan.
First, let's roll it back a second. The FBI admits it has a document alleging Joe Biden was involved in a bribery scheme. The payments occurred in 2015-16 with the co-founder of Burisma Holdings, Mykola Zlochevsky. The FBI, at first, refused to turn over the report, only relenting when Director Christopher Wray faced contempt charges. The FD-1023 report, filed based on information from confidential human sources, alleges Biden took $5 million from Burisma. Zlochevsky also reportedly has a ledger of the payments, phone calls, and recordings of those conversations. Biden knows he has the Department of Justice in his pocket. The road to him was through his son, with a lot resting on the ongoing investigations into his tax practices and lying on a background check form to purchase a handgun.
The timing of these legal developments with the Bidens is also something to behold. The FD-1023 report drops, then Donald Trump is indicted hours later in the classified documents probe. When the FBI's spin on the Biden bribery case wouldn't go away, it dropped the sweetheart deal offered to Hunter, where he would plead guilty to tax and gun charges and not go to jail:

Democrats loudly proclaim their passionate commitment to “gun safety” & “tax fairness.” After an investigation that (inexplicably) dragged on for years, the Biden DOJ has handed a no-jail deal to a repeat tax cheat who also lied on a gun purchase form—whose last name is Biden.

1) Hunter Biden has been criminally charged.
— Marina Medvin 🇺🇸 (@MarinaMedvin) June 20, 2023
2) Hunter’s lawyers got a plea deal worked out in advance.
3) This smells fishy, like a throwaway to make it look like evenhanded justice. Of course there’s a lot more to Hunter’s conduct than this case.

The Biden Justice Department reached a sweetheart deal with Hunter Biden.

Hunter will get no jail time for being the bagman for Joe Biden’s vast foreign corruption.
The Biden Justice Department will continue to bury evidence the President of the United States is compromised.

Somebody needs to find Wesley Snipes and ask him how he feels about Hunter Biden getting a pass on this!
Lying on a federal firearm background check form carries up to 10 years in prison and is a felony. Not for Hunter Biden.

According to The Washington Post's reporting on court papers filed Tuesday morning, Hunter Biden has reached a "tentative agreement" to "plead guilty to two minor tax crimes and admit to the facts of a gun charge under terms that would likely keep him out of jail."
This sweetheart deal for Hunter Biden would still require validation by a federal judge at such time Hunter appears in court to enter his plea.

"My son has done nothing wrong," President Joe Biden said of Hunter on May 5, 2023 when asked about the federal probe of Hunter's actions. "I trust him," the elder Biden continued. "I have faith in him and it impacts my presidency by making me feel proud of him."
President Joe Biden has spent the better part of the last half-century demanding that Americans pay higher taxes — their "fair share" — and more recently called for a significant increase in the number of IRS investigators even as his son who "has done nothing wrong" failed to pay a tax bill of more than $1 million.
Hunter smokes some magic crack cocaine, or it could be that his father unduly influenced some of the investigations. Would you be shocked if he did? From what we've seen emanating from the Justice Department and the sordid tales about this family, nothing would shock.

Lies on a background check form, doesn't pay taxes on lord knows how much cash, and doesn't serve a day in jail. When people ask how someone like Donald Trump can win the presidency and spark a populist uprising, look no further than how the legal system treats the wealthy and well-connected, of which many are Democrats.
Hunter's gun and tax problems are now dealt with in the most underhanded way, but the Burisma Holdings scheme should remain a top investigative target concerning Joe Biden. Hunter was also paid $5 million in that arrangement.
