Watch: The Scores of Democrats and Media Folks Who Were Dead Wrong About Donald Trump

Take a bow, Washington Free Beacon. You’ve put together another phenomenal super cut showing scores of Democrats and media personalities saying how Trump will never be president. President Obama said he could imagine it in a Saturday Night Live skit, along with numerous occasions where he confidently said Trump wouldn’t be elected. Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) said Trump wouldn’t be president. Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) said he would never be elected, as did CNN’s Maria Cardona, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA),The View's Joy Behar, Fareed Zakaria (also of CNN), and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT).

Even I said that Trump wouldn’t be the nominee, or even president. Well, we were all wrong, though at least I voted for him on November 8. Nevertheless, I’ll be the first to admit that I was wrong about Trump, that I’m glad Hillary was defeated (she’s far worse...that's a given), and that I’ve never been happier to be proven wrong. We have a unified Republican government being sworn in in January. We have increased GOP representation in state legislatures, especially the governorships. And now we can get to work to chip away at the poisonous regulatory state the Obama White House established.

At the end of the primary, the question was which is better: a Trump presidency working with a Republican Congress or a Clinton White House continuing the Obama agenda with a Democratic one? The choice is clear to any Republican or conservative. It was explicitly clear. And for 90 percent of the party, they rightfully picked the former option.
