Weyrich Speaks (& the Plot Thickens)

Almost a week after the story first surfaced, conservative icon Paul Weyrich has distanced himself from those anti-Romney for VP ads.  According to this press release he issued,

he was misled.

This seems to contradict another recent revelation about the incident.

If Weyrich's press release is correct, this implies the Government is Not God Pac was either extremely careless -- or perhaps intentionally misled -- this revered elder statesman of the conservative movement...
