Normally, I hate it when campaigns try to keep the polls open.  If the rules say the polls should close at 7 -- or 8 -- or 8:30 -- then those are the rules, right?

Well, today is the exception.  In Northern Virginia, even the guy who left extra early -- and took every precaution to make sure he would have plenty of time to vote -- wouldn't have made it.

The roads are literally parking lots.
