Apparently, Rep. Adam Putnam thinks the AGOTV (Appalachian Get Out the Vote) wasn't as good this year as in past years. He's running for House Republican Conference, by the way.

These guys should really stop saying dumb stuff to fellow party Members during these leadersip-electin' times we're in. They know it's gonna get leaked.

Luckily, white Southerners aren't the type to go into identity politics freak-out mode when referred to by a politically incorrect name, so this story won't go much beyond the next couple of hours. We'll be spared Candlelight Vigils for Cletus and the like.
