Crowd Goes Wild as Trump Declares What Nov. 5 Will Be Called

Transgender Day of Visibility and Easter fell on the same date this year and the Biden White House’s decision to commemorate both has prompted fierce criticism from politicians and pundits on the right. Fox News’s Jesse Watters noted that the two dates coincided during the Obama years, but the former president did not acknowledge it. Besides, when the calendar is full of days, weeks, and months dedicated to some LGBTQ issue, was it necessary to highlight TDV on one of Christianity’s most holy days, Watters wondered.

Former President Trump, whose campaign called the decision “appalling and insulting” and an example of the “Biden administration’s years-long assault on the Christian faith,” responded Tuesday in typical fashion.

Speaking to supporters at a campaign rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Trump said Nov. 5 wouldn't just be Election Day.

"And what the h--- was Biden thinking when he declared Easter Sunday to be Trans Visibility Day?" Trump asked. "Such total disrespect to Christians."

He continued, noting that Nov. 5th would be “called something else.”

“You know, it's going to be called Christian Visibility Day," Trump declared, "when Christians turn out in numbers that nobody's ever seen before.”

The crowd went wild.
