Dishonest PR Stunt: Tlaib Begged to Visit Elderly Grandmother, Only to Reject Israel’s Approval

(AP Photo/Carlos Osorio)

Anti-semitic Democrat Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib just proved (again) her efforts to visit Israel were made in bad faith.

Yesterday after the Israeli government denied Congresswoman Ilhan Omar and Tlaib from entering the country due to their advocacy for the BDS movement, Tlaib was offered a humanitarian exception to visit her grandmother.

First, Tlaib framed the situation as an outright ban:

Then, she begged to see her grandmother and argued it may be her last chance.

After getting approval, a gesture of goodwill and tolerance from Israel, Tlaib rejected the opportunity to visit her family.

As I've already written, the trip to Israel, which was listed as "Palestine" on the itinerary, was a malicious setup from the beginning. Tlaib and Omar vindictively put Israeli officials in a lose-lose situation. They are calculated provocateurs.
