Headed to Closure: Final Suspect in Brian Terry's Murder Arrested

The final murder suspect in the 2010 killing of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry has finally been arrested.

"A few days ago, fugitive Jesus Rosario Favela was taken into custody in Mexico. This is the last man at large that is wanted for the murder of my brother, Brian," Brian's sister, Kelly-Terry Willis, posted about the arrest on Facebook. "It’s been a very emotional few days for my family. Now we wait for extradition for this punk and the other captured back in April."

Terry was killed in an Arizona valley near the southern border by Mexican bandits working as a rip crew. Guns left at the scene were obtained through Operation Fast and Furious, an illegal gun trafficking program run by the Obama Justice Department and ATF from 2009-2010. Hundreds of people have died as a result of the reckless operation.

Terry was a Marine and a police officer before joining the elite BORTAC unit of Border Patrol. He was just 40-years-old when he died and had plans to be home for Christmas.
