Green Party Candidate Jill Stein Whines About America Being Mean to North Korea

It's been just two months since American student Otto Warmbier was returned home after being held hostage in North Korea for more than a year. The government accused him of stealing a propaganda poster and sentenced him to 15-years of hard labor. He was reunited with his family in June, suffering a coma, and died just six days after landing back in the U.S.

According to doctors, Otto suffered serious cardiovascular injuries that led to a lack of oxygen to the brain, causing the coma and irreversible loss of brain tissue. North Korea claimed Otto went into a coma after taking a sleeping pill and because of botulism. Doctors found no evidence of either. 

But despite North Korea's role in Otto's death, Green Party Candidate Jill Stein thinks the United States is the problem. 

During an interview on MSNBC this week, Stein argued the U.S. has demonized the regime and that their threats of nuclear annihilation are simply a response to American aggression.
