Obama Going on The View

Barbara Walters is calling it "a historic hour."

President Obama hasn't been brave enough to face real journalists' questions in over a year for fear of someone asking him tough questions, so instead he is going on ABC's "The View." Barbara Walters and Bill Geddie announced today on the show's

website that the July 29 hour long show will be dedicated to President Obama. The site says he plans on talking about "tough issues," such as jobs and the economic recovery.

Of course this is a "historical" moment considering no sitting President has ever appeared on a day time talk show. Maybe that is because past Presidents were busy running the country instead of appearing on television. Hopefully Elisabeth Hasselbeck will ask the tough questions while the rest of the ladies are getting chills up their legs.
