WATCH: Trump's Victory Speech After Dominant New York Primary Win

There is little doubt that Republican frontrunner Donald Trump wins when it matters.  In a blowout, Trump won handily in a heavily restricted Republican electorate in the Empire State.

In a short and simple speech, Trump thanked his fellow New Yorkers and laid out his plan to secure the nomination.

"The people of this country and the people of this state are truly amazing people," he said.  

"It's really nice to win the delegates with the votes.  Nobody should be given delegates," he said, referring to Sen. Ted Cruz's voter-less victory in Colorado.
