Congressman to Immigration Activists: 'Are You an Example of the America We Can Expect?'

Rep. Steve King (R-IA) stood outside the Supreme Court building on Monday in protest of Obama's executive action on immigration.

He spoke directly to a group of immigration activists just as jurists heard opening arguments on the highly controversial executive immigration reform.

The Iowa congressman mocked the protesters by asking, "Why are you all yelling? Do you want to be citizens of America?"

Do I need to start reading the Constitution from the 1st Amendment?  You're supposed to be demonstrating what good citizens you would make rather than the kind of actions you have here," he continued.

"Are you an example of the America we can expect?  If so we are in for a rough ride."
