Matt Schlapp On Marco Rubio: It's a Long Process Trying to Get to a Yes or a No

Matt Schlapp, coordinator of next week's CPAC event outside of Washington, D.C., was on "Morning Joe" Wednesday morning and was questioned about rumors that Marco Rubio may skip the event entirely.

"I don't know what they were thinking," Schlapp said referring to Rubio.  "I've been working with them for seven months to try and get an answer."

"So with Marco its just been a long process of trying to get him there," Schlapp reiterated.

"In typical Donald Trump fashion, when we invited him to speak at CPAC, I sent him an e-mail... I got an answer back in like 15 minutes, no bureaucracy, got an answer."
