[Chancellor of the Exchequer George] Osborne's budget shares the same objective as the Tea Party movement here in America: to dramatically reduce the size and scope of government. The government's Office of Budget Responsibility estimates the budget changes will eliminate 610,000 public-sector jobs over the next five years...while creating 1.3 million new private-sector jobs -- a massive transfer of workers from government to private employment.
