China's One-Child Policy On The Way Out?

Observers think China's one-child policy may go the way of the dinosaurs, though, not because of an official reversal in the law. Rather, many families are simply viewing the one-child policy as a better economical choice. Here's Susan Greenhalgh, an anthropology professor at the University of California, Irvine, talking to the AP:

My view is that it will gradually be taken apart, piece by piece, over the next few years...until we all wake up and discover that, lo and behold, the one-child policy has been dismantled to the point that it's no longer a one-child policy.
