His address at SRLC was filled with analysis of the conservative mainstays: smaller government, and lower taxes. Here's his best illustration of that, referencing statistics that population had decreased in Louisiana for 20 years:

After two decades, after 20 years of people leaving our state, we've now had three years in a row of more people moving into Louisiana rather than leaving Louisiana... The reason this is happening is that we have started off with the recognition that government doesn't create jobs, people create jobs.

...I know these conservative ideas can work in every state across this great country.
