Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.), was nothing short of bubbly when it came time to talk about the prospects for health care now that the Dem's supermajority was lost.

I have always said that the magic number on healthcare reform is 50, not 60," he said. "And I do believe that we will have a healthcare reform bill, and we will have one that the American people can be proud of.
1) That's a pretty strong endorsement of reconciliation. 2) No wonder Reid didn't hesitate to say that he won't make any moves on health care until Brown is seated. It won't make a difference.
