Dalai Lama Thinks Obama's Nobel Is Premature

The Dalai Lama won the prize 20 years ago:

I think if you are realistic, it may have been a little early but it doesn't matter, I know Obama is a very able person.

The Dalai Lama also expressed optimism about the President's approach to global warming, a possible ban on nuclear weapons, and his lack of depression.

If you are depressed and lost hope then, I think, at the end of our life we may develop regret.

He hopes to meet with the President in the next few months.
