Troops Could Increase To 35,000 -- Not 30,000, As Obama Claimed

It's based on an "understanding" between the White House and Pentagon officials. Though Obama said 30,000 troops would be deployed "such numbers always include the assumption that other specialized personnel will be required," according to the Washington Post. That could mean 33,000 troops, or even 35,000.
