iPhone Application Allows Men To "Choose" Which Girl To Pick Up

As part of a marketing scheme, Pepsi decided to create an iPhone application where men could "choose" which kind of woman they wanted to take home that night, including

"sorority girl," "cougar," "rebound girl" or "punk rock girl."

After selecting the desired model of woman, the application would provide tips on how to seduce her for a fling. Then, if you landed the girl, you can share your escapade with friends.

I'm not sure if I'm able to take this seriously. Post-ironic twenty-somethings have a knack for making fun of things that actually deserve to be made fun of, and marketing mavens are good at creating things to satisfy their hip cynicism. But if anyone does take it seriously....  that's disgusting.
