From the Department of Crazy: Racism Alive and Well

A Philadelphia kids camp pays a private pool for the use of their facilities for the summer. The kids at the camp are mostly black. They show up at the pool. The pools' existing patrons, who are mostly white, exit the pool.

The pool attendants tell the black kids that they need to leave immediately. The black kids leave, bewildered. The next day, the pool director calls the camp director and tells him that the camp is getting a refund for their deposit, and that the campers can't come to the pool anymore.

And then, this explanation.
"There was concern that a lot of kids would change the complexion … and the atmosphere of the club," John Duesler, President of The Valley Swim Club said in a statement.
There are so many things wrong with this situation, it's almost impossible to address. Perhaps the only thing to do is write off the pool's attendants, patrons, and at the very least, President, as a bunch of complete nutter butters who deserve nothing less than a public flogging and intensive re-education in manners, morals, and media relations.
