Heh: An Actual Kamala Policy Is So Extreme, Journos Wrongly Assumed Trump Invented It

During Tuesday's debate, Donald Trump made passing reference to a policy Kamala Harris supports -- namely, US taxpayer-funded sex change surgeries for illegal immigrants under temporary detention.  We covered this earlier in the week, citing a CNN report that uncovered Harris' presidential candidate questionnaire from the ACLU.  Here is how the 'K-File' article spelled it out: "As Kamala Harris pivots to the political center in her campaign for president, a 2019 questionnaire from a leading civil rights organization spotlights her past support for left-wing causes such as taxpayer-funded gender transition surgeries for detained immigrants and federal prisoners."

The piece went on:

In an American Civil Liberties Union questionnaire then-Sen. Harris filled out as a candidate for president in 2020, she also expressed support for decriminalizing federal drug possession for personal use, and for sweeping reductions to Immigration and Custom Enforcement operations, including drastic cuts in ICE funding and an open-ended pledge to “end” immigration detention...The Harris campaign did not answer questions from CNN on whether she continued to support these positions and instead provided a statement attributable only to an unnamed “Harris campaign advisor” saying, “The Vice President’s positions have been shaped by three years of effective governance as part of the Biden-Harris Administration.” They declined to elaborate on what her positions were.

In case you missed it, CNN even aired a primetime segment about this on the night before the debate. Trump noticed the report, apparently, because he raised it while listing off a litany of the radical positions Harris has espoused:

She went out -- she went out in Minnesota and wanted to let criminals that killed people, that burned down Minneapolis, she went out and raised money to get them out of jail. She did things that nobody would ever think of. Now she wants to do transgender operations on illegal aliens that are in prison. This is a radical left liberal that would do this. She wants to confiscate your guns and she will never allow fracking in Pennsylvania.

Harris dismissed all of these as "lies" and untrue, but the record speaks for itself. Her infamous tweet raising money for the Minneapolis rioters while her running mate let that city burn is still live:

She said that didn't happen, but it did, as did her embrace of 'defund the police.'  She explicitly embraced gun confiscation, euphemized as "mandatory buy-backs," and proposed unconstitutional gun control via exective fiat that was so brazen and illegal that Joe Biden pushed back on it:

The moderator at that debate, incidentally? David Muir of ABC News. She can say she no longer supports banning fracking, but she couldn't have been clearer about her exuberant desire to do so:

Why the flip-flop? Does she no longer believe fracking is a "threat" to the "health" of communities, as she stated in justifying her fracking ban proposal?  We've gotten no explanation on that -- or any of her many other "changes." And yes, Trump was quoting Harris' own questionnaire on taxpayer-furnished transition operations for detained illegal immigrants, but a lot of journos seemed to have no idea that it was true. They reflexively flagged it as a crazy Trump invention or "false" claim, apparently assuming the policy was too fringe for her to have said any such thing. But she did. Quite a sight to see:

Shocking realities also extend into the abortion debate, even if Trump messages these points poorly, and the pro-abortion side benefits from their stances being so horrifyingly extreme that normal people don't believe they could be true:

Harris denied the truth about the ghastly abortion laws she and her running mate support, receiving no fact check from ABC News.  On that point, I'll leave you with this:
