Jim Wallis on MSNBC: Social Justice, Economic Justice, & H'care "Are At The Heart Of The Gospel"
As my former boss and friend Dennis Prager often says, "Anytime you add a word in front of 'justice,' it's no longer justice."

To Jim Wallis: If your "trinity" of social justice, economic justice, and healthcare insurance are at the heart of the Gospel, where do sin, the cross, repentance, regeneration, Heaven and Hell, and man's need for Christ's salvation fit in? As Beck says, run from these guys, their churches, and organizations (

Sojourners).

Liberal "Christians" like Wallis would be considered doers of good deeds if their judge were not God. Fortunately, there is a Judge who gave us His Great Commission to proclaim to the world that Jesus is the way and the truth and the life. That no one comes to the Father except through Him. (John 14:6).

Wallis's great commission is to provide temporary comfort (under the guise of Christianity) for lost people with the relief of food, shelter, and the like, while ignoring the primary calling for Christians. It has been said that without sharing the Gospel with the down-trodden, Wallis and his ilk are providing comfort for those on a direct highway to Hell. As a Christian and a believer of what Jesus said, I agree. We must pray Wallis's heart is moved to do the work of Jesus Christ and things of eternal consequence. If not, stop calling your organization Christian and your "good deeds" the "heart of the Gospel."
