Framework of Deal Should Go Before Congress Monday

Democrat Sen. Harry Reid just announced that a debt ceiling deal will go before the House and Senate Monday.

GOP Sen. Mitch McConnell said Republicans have a conference meeting tomorrow morning to discuss the framework of the legislation that has so far been agreed upon by the negotiators, but that he has a "high degree of confidence" that it is "a framework to review that will ensure significant cuts in Washington spending."
