CIA Director Mike Pompeo will brief the House Intelligence Committee Tuesday evening. He is expected to address the Washington Post report that President Trump shared classified information with Russian officials, but the briefing was scheduled several weeks ago, according to NBC.

Multiple White House officials have argued that the premise of the WaPo story is "false." The foreign policy information Trump shared with Russian officials was "wholly appropriate," according to National Security Adviser H. R. McMaster, who addressed reporters from the White House Tuesday.
