White House Releases Photo of Trump, Staff Getting Briefed on Syria Airstrike

White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer tweeted out a photo of President Trump and his staff receiving a national security briefing after launching an airstrike in Syria Thursday night. It has been edited for security reasons.

The photo is reminiscent of the now iconic photo in the Situation Room from 2011 that captured the moments President Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and other key members of his administration were following the raid on the compound in which Osama Bin Laden was hiding.

Trump and his team decided to aggressively respond to Syria's chemical attack, dropping about 60 Tomahawk missiles on a Syrian airfield.
