Fiorina Meeting With Trump Today, Fueling Cabinet Rumors

Former presidential candidate Carly Fiorina is scheduled to meet with President-elect Donald Trump on Monday, fueling rumors she is being considered for director of national intelligence. If chosen, she would be the first female to fill the role.

The pro-life group Susan B. Anthony List is thrilled that Trump is giving an ear to such a strong right to life advocate.

“Nominating Carly for an important role would be a smart choice for President-elect Trump to advance his pro-life priorities," SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser said in a statement on Sunday. "We are encouraged by this meeting and confident about Carly’s future in public service.”

Fiorina was openly critical of Trump during the Republican primary last year. At one debate, she pushed back at the eventual nominee for his "look at that face" comment, suggesting he was being disrespectful to women.

Now that the election is ancient history, Fiorina has praised Trump's transition efforts.
