Another Celebrity ‘Comes Out’ as Conservative

I guess former Sabrina the Teenage Witch actress Melissa Joan Hart wasn’t kidding when she told Fox News she is encountering more Republicans in Hollywood. Speaking with comedian Adam Corolla on his radio show, actor Vince Vaughn, known for films such as Wedding Crashers and Dodgeball, walked aboard the Hollywood plank by proudly revealing he's conservative.

In a telephone interview with Adam Carolla, Hollywood A-lister Vince Vaughn made a strong declaration about his conservative principles. When Carolla asked him very directly, “Do you count yourself a conservative?” Vaughn did not hesitate or stammer, he merely replied, “I do, yeah…I mean I’m very supportive of Ron Paul, but I’ve always been more conservative than not.”

Vaughn explained how he learned his conservative values from the hard work and dedication of his father and then elaborated on his admiration for former Republican presidential candidate and famous libertarian Ron Paul.

“I really like Ron Paul…I think that when you get older, you just get less trust in the government running anything. And you start to realize…when you go back and start to look at the Constitution and the principles of liberty, the real purpose of government is to protect the individual’s right to, you know, sort of think and pursue what they have interest in,” Vaughn replied.

Hm, he took one look at the Constitution and realized that government has its boundaries? If only more of his Hollywood friends could have the same revelation.
