Former Pussycat Doll Claims Group Was a 'Prostitution Ring'

Singer Kaya Jones was a member of the girl group the Pussycat Dolls until she left in 2005. Now, she's speaking out on Twitter about how she and others in the group were forced to sleep with people in the industry. She even went as far as to call the Pussycat Dolls a "prostitution ring."

Jones said that this was the reason why she left the group as they were about to hit it big.

She said that she and others didn't report this as they were concerned for both their careers and for their lives. ones said that they were "all abused" and that she had been warned about the consequences of going to the authorities.

She specifically called out the "den mother from hell" for her treatment, and accused her of driving another girl from a different group to suicide. The Pussycat Dolls were created by Robin Antin, who also founded the group G.R.L. One of G.R.L.'s founding members, Simone Battle, committed suicide in 2014.

While she hasn't named names yet, Jones said that she kept a journal and detailed timeline of her abuse, and she wonders if other survivors did as well.

This is horrific, and I'm glad she's finally coming forward about what she had to go through. Hopefully Jones and others are able to recover and their abusers will face justice.
