WATCH: Shepard Smith Had the Best Time Covering the Eclipse

Monday was the first coast-to-coast total solar eclipse across the United States in about a century. Many people took time off of work to travel to where the sun would be completely blocked by the moon, and many small towns saw a sudden influx of eclipse chasers.

Thankfully, for all of us, Fox News' Shepard Smith was not one of the people who took off work to go eclipse chasing. On the contrary, Smith didn't seem to care too much at all about natural phenomena, which led to this utterly hilarious supercut created by our friends over at the Washington Free Beacon. In it, Smith expresses his utter disdain and confusion surrounding the entire event and the people who experienced "totality," and delivers the day's coverage in an impressively sarcastic tone.

Watch below:

"China...CHYNA."

Even an official Fox News account poked fun at Smith's coverage of the eclipse.

On Twitter, Smith defended himself against Free Beacon's claim that he "didn't care" about the eclipse. He said that the coverage was the "most fun we've had in months!" and expressed a desire for an eclipse to occur every week.

Regardless of the heavy dose of sarcasm, at least he created some A-plus hilarious content.
