Franken Re-elected in Minnesota

Incumbent Senator Al Franken (D) cruised to victory tonight over Republican challenger Mike McFadden in a race that was called immediately as the poll closed. This is Franken's second term in the Senate.

Franken had a wide lead in the polls throughout the election, averaging a 10-point lead over McFadden.
