Can Barack Please Talk to Ahmadinejad About This?

Fox News reports that Somali pirates commandeered an Iranian ship that appears to have had either chemical or biological weapons on board.

The piece notes that "The massive shipping company that controls the vessel, the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Line (IRISL), was recently designated by the U.S. Department of the Treasury over nuclear proliferation concerns."

Hm. Well, maybe Barack can charm Ahmadinejad into better behavior if he's elected. Then again, as the story points out, the Iranians are denying everything.

So I guess that settles that. I'm sure the UN will be effective in dealing with these crises should there be an Obama presidency.
