Twice-failed presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) sees a "silver lining" in the Wuhan coronavirus. He believes the global pandemic will have Americans rethinking how they view the government and the government's role in society. It's a notion that Democrats, like progressive darling Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), keep talking about.

"I also think, George, to tell you the truth, that if there is any silver lining in the midst of this terrible, terrible and unprecedented moment in American history, in terms of the economy and the pandemic, it is that maybe we start rethinking some of the fundamental tenets about the way our government and society works," Sanders told ABC News' George Stephanopoulos.
