'Get Your S**t Together': Ana Navarro-Cardenas Unloads on 2020 Dems

Sen. Bernie Sanders (D-VT) has come under fire for repeatedly endorsing Fidel Castro and his communist policies. Democrats have been quick to slam him for praising Castro's health care and education systems. It happened again on Friday during a segment on "The View" when Ana Navarro-Cardenas used a segment on Sanders' health and heart attacks to tear into the 2020 Democratic candidate's praises of Castro.

"Democrats, I am begging you to get your s**t together so I can vote for one of you," Navarro-Cardenas said. "We got two of the candidates debating over who had more heart attacks. Stop debating that and Bernie, maybe, just maybe – because I'm from Miami – stop apologizing and telling me there's a bright side to a dictator like Fidel Castro. There is not."

According to co-host Joy Behar, Sanders instantly lost Florida with that comment.

"And he's harming the two congresswomen, the Democrat congresswomen, Donna Shalala and Debbie Mucarsel-Powell, who do not deserve to have to deal with the backlash of a Democratic candidate apologizing for Fidel Castro," Navarro-Cardenas said.

Behar interjected, saying she received backlash for her comments about a trip she made to Cuba. Although she thought the Cuban people "were lovely" she said "the infrastructure is a mess."

"They're lovely people, artistical and musical, and they're struggling," Behar said. "And there's been an incredible effort in the world to hurt Cuba."

Navarro-Cardenas reminded Behar that the Cuban people are Fidel Castro.

"Fidel Castro is a dictator. Fidel Castro is a thug," Navarro-Cardenas explained. "He is a murderer."

"He's dead," Behar said.

"Exactly, so why is [Sanders] trying to find a bright side to a dead dictator?" Navarro-Cardenas asked.

Meghan McCain chimed in, saying if Bill Clinton jumped into the race, he would be the third-youngest candidate. Although she said she doesn't typically take issue with a person's age, she cares if they're having a "stent off" to see who had more heart attacks and stents put in place.

The conversation that took place on "The View" is actually quite remarkable. It's a bit refreshing to see Democrats actually acknowledge that Fidel Castro was a terrible dictator who murdered his people. CNN even dedicated an entire segment to slam Bernie for his support of dictators like Castro.
