Freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) is now considered one of the top Democrats when it comes to fundraising. For the first quarter of the year, Omar raised more than $832,000, despite her continual anti-Semitic comments, the Congresswoman's Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings reveal.

Roughly half of her campaign contributions came from donations totaling $200 or less, POLITICO reported. $10,000 came from Political Action Committees (PAC). Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) gave Omar $2,000 and House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn (D-SC) gave her $1,000.

Omar is now one of the top Democratic fundraisers. She sits alongside Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ), who raised $830,000 for his vulnerable reelection campaign, and freshman Rep. Josh Harder (D-CA), who raised $873,000 for his reelection campaign in a swing district in California's Central Valley.

The fundraising numbers aren't surprising considering the number of prominent Democrats and leftist celebrities who have come to bat for Omar. Various 2020 Democrats have defended Omar, including Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris, Beto O’Rourke, Pete Buttigieg and Elizabeth Warren.

Despite saying that "some people did something" on September 11th, Omar has been touted as a progressive who is being unfairly attacked by conservatives. According to the Congresswoman, she has received numerous death threats after President Donald Trump tweeted a video reminding Americans of what Omar said about the terrorist attacks.

Sadly, her fundraising numbers are only an idea of what's about to come. It means that even more Democrats are okay with anti-Semitism and her inability to call those who committed the September 11th attacks what they are...terrorists. This is a bigger issue than one person winning an election. This is really about a societal shift in how people view radical Islamic terrorism and anti-Semitism, both of which have no place in America.
