Huck Still Fighting Romney

Former GOP contender Mike Huckabee was bashing Mitt Romney as a potential veep choice on Fox News Today.

"I think there are better choices for Sen. McCain that have the approval of value voters," Huckabee said. "The issue is that in many ways, Mitt Romney has had very definte swings of position. Not just on one or two things, but on many of the issues."

Huckabee's words could have special impact right now. There are a number of evangelical-geared political events coming up. "The Call" with Lou Engal will gather hundreds of evangelicls in Washington this weekend, while McCain and Obama will be visiting Rick Warren's Saddleback Church. Also, the Family Research Council's Values Voters conference will be held September 12-14.
