Megyn Kelly Moves to Primetime

This afternoon, Fox News announced that anchor Megyn Kelly will be hosting during primetime following her maternity leave. The network has not announced what time or what show she will be anchoring, but reported that a brand new primetime schedule will be released at a later date. Kelly has been hosting the Fox daytime program America Live since 2010 from 1 to 3 p.m.

Network chief Roger Ailes said Kelly is, "an exceptional talent who has successfully filled and surpassed each role we have given her at the network. Her ability to command the screen, delve into the facts and lead a debate is what makes her one of the most sought-after anchors in the business.”
