House Republican: 10 ISIS Fighters Were Apprehended in Texas...

The belief that the war against ISIS is confined to some distant battlefield is complete and utter nonsense, according to Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-Calif.).

“I know that at least 10 ISIS fighters have been caught coming across the Mexican border in Texas,” he told Greta Van Susteran on the Fox News Channel last night.

“How do you know that?” she responded incredulously.

“Because I’ve asked the Border Patrol,” he replied.

“We’re at risk here [from] ISIS and radical Islamists coming across the border,” he continued. “They don’t have a navy, they don’t have an air force, [and] they don’t have nuclear weapons. The only way that Americans are going to be harmed by radical Islamists is by having an open southern border.”

“If they catch five or ten of them, then you know there’s going to be dozens more who did not get caught.”

Of course, if what Hunter says is true, we have a serious problem on our hands -- although maybe we already do. It wasn’t too long ago, after all, ISIS sympathizers began tweeting threatening photos outside the White House and in the president’s adopted home city. On the other hand, our government has explicitly said ISIS fighters do not yet pose a danger to Americans. So who do we believe?

I'll leave you with this: FBI Director James Comey recently telling 60 Minutes that under federal law, American-born ISIS terrorists are "entitled" to return to the US.
