Disturbing Footage of Bullies Pointing a Gun at an Autistic Kid's Head Goes Viral

A disturbing video of a 13-year-old autistic child being bullied by a 17-year-old has made its way around social media.

In the video, the younger boy is told repeatedly to get on his knees and kiss the old boy's feet. When the younger child doesn't do as he was ordered to, the 17-year-old puts a gun to the kid's head. The gun was then pulled away from the 13-year-old's head before the older kid began to punch him.

The 13-year-old's mother, Emily Bridges, didn't know why her son came home on Saturday with bruises on his face until he showed her the video, WDAF-TV reported.

"I was hurt. I was angry. I was crying. I was mad. I was upset because he didn't defend himself," Bridges said. "It's sad that other kids think it's okay to treat people that way. I don't want my kids to treat people that way, and I don't allow them to."

When Bridges went to the police on Monday, officers were nonchalant about what took place.

"He just really said that they're minors. There's not a lot that happens to them," Bridges said. "They have to do community service. There's not a lot. I should just keep Derrin [her son] away from there and keep him at home."

Brides returned to the police station on Tuesday, demanding the teens be held accountable for their actions. She hopes that this sends a message to to other kids and teenagers that bullying is not tolerated.

On Tuesday, the 17-year-old, Alexander Schrader, turned himself in. The police also arrested two other minors, the New York Post reported.

During an interview with KSHB-TV, Derrin said he didn't know if the gun was real or not.
