Democrats have repeatedly told us education is a right. They say that so they can demand tens of thousands of dollars per student, massive property tax hikes, and other spending to preserve that "right." Meanwhile, they block voucher programs and try to ban homeschooling to preserve that "right," too.

Of course, COVID should have dispelled any notion that education was a "right" after Democrats shut schools down for months, harming countless children in the process. Seriously: speak to any teacher who taught before and after COVID, and they're still dealing with the impacts of the lockdowns, both academically and socially.

But here's more proof that the Left doesn't believe education is a right. A "transwoman" who calls himself Katerina Day went to a school board meeting in Wake County, North Carolina. Watch what he demanded of school administration:

"I'm here to thank that Wake County school board for protecting teachers and staff by standing up to bigots," he said. "Anti-education bigots who want women out of education and society. I appreciate it as a Wake County Schools graduate, a parent, and soon grandparent. I won't ask for a round of applause because this is a business meeting."

How kind of him.

"I offer three modest proposals to protect my grandchildren from these bigots. They protect your children. One, offer a homeschooling curriculum for free. It helps keep the bigots away from my grandchildren, it provides opportunity for our frailest students, it lets our adults educate themselves, and, by golly, we know they need it tonight," he continued. "Two, name the bigots. Tell us what they cost in money, time, and stress. Three, protect the students. Keep bigots off our campuses. Relocate the children of bigots, if needed. Expel the children of bigots if needed. Or maybe Jonathan Swift's proposal applies to bigots, too."

He seems lovely.

That's sad.

It's a total mystery.

But he just wants to protect us from bigots.

"And in areas where all or most of the school board is appointed by politicians elected to office, pay a lot more attention to the party of the politicians you are electing. I was a Democrat my entire life until the last couple of years when this insanity (and other sorts of insanities) started to grip the party. Now I'm politically homeless, but I do vote- and I can tell you I no longer vote Democrat because with far too FEW exceptions, they ALL tow the line for this trans gender insanity (and other sorts of insanity)," the post reads.

We doubt this will do much to persuade people to support the trans movement. Parents tend not to like it when someone calls them "bigots" and threatens their children.

The Left has said education is a right. Unless your parents oppose the trans agenda. Then you should be expelled from school and maybe turned into soylent green, too.
