And that's a wrap! President Trump knocked it out of the chamber with his speech tonight, reminding Americans of the economic and judicial successes he's helped usher in these past few years, while giving the spotlight to a few of his guests of honor

House Speaker Pelosi wasn't impressed though, if you couldn't tell by her dramatic tearing of his speech. I can only fathom why he didn't shake her hand.

Maybe the Dems are frustrated because this time tomorrow POTUS will likely be acquitted and this whole impeachment process will be kaput?

Just a thought!

Regarding Pelosi's dramatic theater, "petty" is the word on the street...

Wasn’t that a great State of the Union by President Trump? For four years, the Democratic Party has been insufferable. They’re condescending. They’re smug. They can’t believe Trump is president. It’s time to rub it in their faces again this year. Help us accomplish that. Help us humiliate these clowns who are trying to stop the Great American Comeback. From Senate Leader McConnell:

"For three years, we’ve worked together to push pro-worker, pro-family policies to bring jobs, wage growth, and hope back to the places the Obama economy left behind.

“The results have been a truly all-American comeback."

Message from the Trump campaign.

Listen folks, I get it. The Democratic/Republican response to the SOTU is never a good job. Bill Clinton did it when he was governor of Arkansas and it was a train wreck. He was elected and re-elected POTUS. I don't know if Gretchen is running mate material, but this line about Democrats being for the worker and the GOP for the wealthy, and having policies that only benefit the wealthy, is so old.

Democrats are now a regional and urban based party that's dominated by a professional, educated, and wealthy class that's also incredibly condescending. They're also not the majority.

Trump hit on points that EVERYONE can cheer. Americans, and I know I'm being controversial here, love this country. They want cheerleaders. And the Democrats haven't channeled that role in quite some time.

Gov. Gretchen Whitmer: It's simple. Democrats are trying to make healthcare better. Republicans in Washington are trying to take it away.

The funny part about this Democratic response by Michigan's Gretchen Whitmer is that Trump will probably win the state again in November

Whitmer is giving the Dem response and it's like watching an SNL parody.

So to recap tonight Democrats:

-Refused to clap for a 9-year-old girl receiving a scholarship for school

-Refused to clap for lower unemployment across all demographics

-Didn’t clap for a Tuskegee Airman

-Refused to clap when Trump took on insurance companies

-Pelosi ripped up the speech

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, giving the Democrat response to SOTU, says she isn't going to address what President Trump just said. Okay.
