Longtime Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger is undergoing heart valve replacement surgery this week and has had to cancel the band's tour. The 75-year-old will have the operation this week in New York City, the Daily Mail reports.
The Stones's recent tour, "No Filter," which was scheduled to begin April 20, had planned to make stops in the U.S. and Canada.

Despite the diagnosis, Jagger was spotted in good spirits on Sunday, playing with his children on a beach in Miami.
His bandmates supported their friend on Twitter.
A big disappointment for everyone but things need to be taken care of and we will see you soon. Mick, we are always there for you!

I’m devastated for having to postpone the tour but I will be working very hard to be back on stage as soon as I can. Once again, huge apologies to everyone.
The Rolling Stones are one of the most legendary bands of all time, as is their lead singer. They formed in 1962 and have managed to maintain a massive following into their seventies. Here's to a speedy recovery, Sir Mick!
