Only candidates who have received an average of at least 2 percent in national or New Hampshire polls were invited to the June 13 debate hosted by WMUR-TV, CNN and the New Hampshire Union Leader.

David Hurst, chairman of the New Hampshire Young Republicans says Johnson has an impressive record as governor and should have been included. Johnson's campaign also points out that the margin of error in most polls means there's no statistical difference between 1 percent and 3 percent.
