The TOLERANT States Of America

The opinions expressed by columnists are their own and do not necessarily represent the views of Townhall.com.

The war that has been brewing between the Sexual Activists of America, and every day people of faith, morals, and conscience has moved into the major campaign of the conflict.

This week has been bloody.

For the better part of the past two years I have repeatedly stated on my radio show that we have entered a day where the Constitutional guarantee of absolute legal protection for one's freedom of religious faith and expression is running headlong into a culturally driven force that is a non-Constitutional right to sexual freedom.

The United States Constitution doesn't address sex, sexuality, sexual habits, or sexual practice. Yet the elementary schools, the entertainment complex, the higher educational campus, the administration, and of course the intolerant activists are winning an argument in the public square. Their argument is that one's sexual practice, especially if related to GLBTQ behaviors in any way, must be upheld by the court, law, and society as of superior value over another person's religious practice.

This week the intolerance of such bigotry against those who believe in what has always been understood to be basic morality, has taken on a threatening nature of such covert importance that comparisons to the Soviet KGB, the Nazi's Gestapo, or even the mafia of organized crime are not stretches for the imagination.

For who would have thought, even at the turn of this year, that such ugly, bigoted, brutality by activists whose only identity is in the sexual behaviors they practice, could ever be conceived in such ill mannered, philosophically violent and narratively blood thirsty fashion.

Who could have predicted that a person who made a private political donation, as a private citizen, in support of a law that the voters of California had self-determined, twice, to be the legal definition of what they wished marriage to be, would see that donation costing him his future job. Thus was the case of Brenden Eich, the former CEO of Mozilla the parent company of the popular web-browser Firefox.

To our knowledge Eich had not conducted some witch hunt. He had not done global speaking tours on "The 10 Dangers Of Redefining Marriage." He has never spoken a public word about his likely religious beliefs in what marriage should be. Yet this one action of giving all of $1000 to support a law that would protect marriage for children's best interests, made him an untenable monster that had to be repeatedly savaged and eventually killed off in the professional arena.

His only crime for such abuse was to espouse a belief that the overwhelming majority of people on the globe believe, not merely the majority of Americans.

It is not enough for the sex activists--who again wish for special classification and treatment merely for the decision they make to have sex with people of the same sex--to be treated equally before the law. (For there is no county clerk in America to which if a man who practices homosexual sex with other men, showed up with a female to marry, wouldn't be given a marriage license. There is no hospital in America that would deny visitation to a civil partner who had such desires papered into a civil union. And there is great monetary disparity in favor of those who practice homosexual sex, as the typical homosexual couple earns five times on average what the average married couple earns.)

No, none of this enough, what must come next is complete adherence to their point of view, and a suppression of any viewpoint that may vary with it.

The activists (who differ in large measure from the average homosexual couple who live in relative harmony with the universe around them), must force your compliance and approval of their desire to engage in homosexual activity without criticism, or they will get you fired, and when it becomes legal to do so under hate crime adjudication they will put you to death.

Part of this mindset is what homosexual activists attempted to force World Vision to do in requesting abandonment of Biblical truth. Part of this mindset is being measured against the churches of New York City who have been told by activist sympathizing judges on the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals that the city has the right to discriminate against people of faith, for the very reason of faith. And this mindset was very much the sole motivation for ruining the life of Brendon Eich for merely making a monetary donation in 2008 in support of a view of marriage that has been practiced since the beginning of time.

Those who scream bigotry at the people of God, while engaging in choice-driven grotesque behavior that He warns against, are in fact the most bigoted.

Those who scream tolerance to the masses, while secretly attempting to snuff out all dissenting opinion, are in fact the least tolerant.

Those who hurt the most, are now inflicting as much pain as is legal at the moment, to cause others to suffer for merely believing God's word, plan, practice, and purpose.

Welcome to the TOLERANT States of America, where you will be forced to accept practice and belief that violates your own conscience.

It is a place where they will eventually find a way to kill you if you choose not to do so.
