Joe Biden and Barack Obama are very similar when it comes to dealing with crises. They simply don’t handle them well. They’ll talk. Talk some more and then do nothing—literally.

I feel like I’m watching a shot-for-shot remake here. Perhaps it shouldn’t shock us at all, but the Trump era has brainwashed the liberal media into treating anything Biden does as historic. The COVID vaccine, the 100 million vaccinated, and having everyone over the age of 16 eligible to receive a shot by April 2021 were all Trump initiatives. But that's not the case if you tune into CNN. Yet, these are the two crises that struck both presidencies, and both men used the same playbook in dealing with them, which isn’t saying much. I mean, it’s linguistic gymnastics. That’s the root of it.

In 2014, Russia annexed Crimea from Ukraine. It was an invasion. It was an act of war. And the Obama White House did nothing. They said Russia was acting out of weakness. Really? Annexing a massive piece of another nation’s country is a sign of weakness? Barry, they knew you wouldn’t do anything—that’s why they did it. Your people also didn’t call it an invasion, but an “uncontested arrival,” as if that changes anything. In Syria, Obama dithered, purposefully taking the position that President Bashar al-Assad had to go, which was never going to happen as long as Russia was there. Hey, it kept Obama from making a tough decision. That paralysis by analysis also allowed Moscow to creep into the region.

With Biden, it’s a similar situation all-around. Taiwan is being engulfed by Chinese military exercises. Russia has sent 80,000 troops to the Ukraine border. He’s risking plunging Afghanistan into another civil war by totally withdrawing by September 11, and the border situation is totally out of control. The detention centers are overflowing. COVID is spreading. Children are in containers. It’s a true humanitarian crisis.

Illegal alien arrests have gone through the roof since February, but Biden knows how to solve the crisis. Police the language in referring to those detained at the border:

Greg Gutfeld noted this in a recent episode of "The Five" on Fox News. The Left simply thinks if they call it something else then it’s no longer a crisis. That’s how bad they are at policy. On immigration, it’s open borders. They’re soft on crime. They want to defund the police. They’re weak on foreign policy. They want to tax us to death. And all of this is peppered with a healthy dose of critical race theory. Actually, they’re more centered on the latter—which is why they can’t sell anything. Everything is race-obsessed, with worthless plunges to see if old cartoons and brand-name cereals might have vestiges of structural racism.

Both Obama and Biden have issues at home and abroad. Both men decided to call a rather serious crisis by different names believing it would erase the severity of the situation. And both men are appallingly weak on foreign policy. Obama got rolled by the Iranians. Biden is getting rolled by the Chinese. We have to endure another three years of this.
