This is excellent news for Wisconsin Republicans ahead of the August 11 primary. They've outraised the Democrats again, with the WisGOP having $5 million and $1.9 million cash on hand. The WisDems raised just $380,000 and have $727,000 cash on hand.

This writer keeps hearing how Francesca Hong will energize voters to go to the polls, and while socialists aren't keen on opening their wallets, you'd think that enthusiasm would trickle over into fundraising, no?

Rep. Tom Tiffany, the Republican running for governor, is also beating Democratic Socialist Francesca Hong in fundraising, too. Tiffany has $8.7 million and Hong just $715,000.

Fox News also highlighted the Marquette Law School poll from July 8-16, which shows Tiffany is up over Hong 43-40 with 17 percent of voters undecided.

And that poll was before the deluge of bad press for Francesca Hong, including the Madison autonomous zone, her views on holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas, and her terrible interviews on CNN, Fox News, and elsewhere.

"Their side is a wreck. Sara Rodriguez quit over campaign finance mismanagement. Mandela Barnes quit last week. David Crowley dropped out, came back with Evers' endorsement and is running dead last," Mitchell wrote.

Even current Gov. Tony Evers thinks Hong is going to lose, telling the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel "probably not" when asked if Hong would beat Tiffany in November.

This is good news for Republicans, but we cannot rest on our laurels. Hasan Piker was here to campaign for Hong and said if the socialists win, Republicans will never hold office in or win the state of Wisconsin again. Take the threat seriously and beat Hong in November.
