We Fund the Wall, a private group that has raised millions and already built part of a border wall in New Mexico, broke ground last month on a new stretch of border wall along private lands in the Rio Grande Valley region in Texas.
The project was expected to be completed by Christmas time, but a state judge, Keno Vasquez, ruled that construction of the private border wall could cause "imminent and irreparable harm" to a nearby butterfly sanctuary, CNN reported.
Earlier this year, a federal judge dismissed a lawsuit brought by the North American Butterfly Association (NABA) to similarly stop the Trump administration from building the wall in southern Texas.
Never mind what harm may be caused by criminal illegal aliens crossing our open borders to rape and murder U.S. citizens. Butterflies are the primary concern here.
We Fund the Wall began when U.S. Air Force Veteran Brian Kolfage started a GoFundMe page and raised over $9 million in three days. It is now a nonprofit group with an advisory board that includes notable names like Steve Bannon and Kris Kobach.
Kolfage posted a video update on Twitter featuring a man identified as Forman Mike discussing the "butterfly lady" up the street who doesn't want the wall.
"What you people have to know is that you have dead bodies on her property, right near her property," Mike said. He went on to describe the cartel's activities that have happened in the nearby area.

Kolfage told CNN that he had informed about the ruling. "More fake news," Kolfage said. "We haven't heard anything. We have not been served."
