RNC Breaks Another Fundraising Record for August

The Republican National Committee broke another fundraising record for August, pulling in $23.5 million with $53.8 million cash on hand at the end of the month.

This is the greatest haul for August during an off-cycle year by the RNC or the Democratic National Committee, according to Fox News.

RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said the Democrats were actually the ones who helped push the fundraising numbers north.

“Thanks to boycotts from Hollywood liberals and the Castro brothers doxxing private citizens who support President Trump, the RNC’s fundraising hit record levels in August," McDaniel told Fox News, referring to when Rep. Joaquin Castro, D-Texas, listed the names and employers of 44 San Antonio residents who contributed the legal limit to the president's campaign, which was backed by his presidential hopeful brother, Julián Castro.

"The more Democrats demonize President Trump and his supporters, the more boots we can put on the ground to re-elect him," McDaniel continued. "Between the President’s accomplishments and our grassroots infrastructure, Republicans are going to be unstoppable in 2020!”

The official numbers for the RNC and DNC will be filed with the Federal Election Commission on Friday.
