UPDATE
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand is now joining Warren's call for Barr to resign.
Attorney General Barr needs to resign. Today, he's proven once again that he's more interested in protecting the president than working for the American people. We can't trust him to tell the truth, and these embarrassing displays of propaganda have to stop.

Once she questioned Barr, Sen. Kamala Harris said he should resign.

Before the hearing was concluded, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) called for his resignation, saying he's "not a credible head of federal law enforcement" and, because of that, "he should resign."
AG Barr is a disgrace, and his alarming efforts to suppress the Mueller report show that he's not a credible head of federal law enforcement. He should resign—and based on the actual facts in the Mueller report, Congress should begin impeachment proceedings against the President.

Former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development and Mayor of San Antonio, Texas Julian Castro shared similar sentiments. Instead of calling on Barr to resign, he wants Congress to impeach the Attorney General and President Donald Trump.
In attempting to deceive the American people, Attorney General Barr went in front of Congress and lied under oath. Congress must hold this administration accountable—that starts with launching impeachment inquiries into William Barr and Donald Trump. pic.twitter.com/y7F4QZvzY9

Democrats are upset with Barr because of a late Tuesday night report from the Washington Post and New York Times with a letter from Special Counsel Robert Mueller to Attorney General William Barr, saying he wasn't happy with the way the media was construing the key findings of the Russia investigation.
The Left is attempting to spin Mueller's letter to make it sound as though Barr mischaracterized the Special Counsel's report.
